Located in the Northern area of the City, 92336 is one of the most popular zip codes in Fontana CA.  The median list price for homes in the 92336 zip code is $265,580;  the average sales price is $250,000.  Cpmpared to the same time one year ago, this represents a decrease of approximately 5.7%.  There are currently 228 Active listings in this zip code and 66.8% are Distressed listings.

According to Trulia, there are 1,843 homes in the pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned stages of the foreclosure process.  Looking at the 3-year Foreclosure chart below, the number of bank-owned properties are declining, however there is a spike in pre-foreclosure properties from the 2nd quarter of 2011 forward.  The decline in properties Scheduled for Sale is a good indication that Banks are working with Borrowers with various Loss Mitigation efforts such as Short Sales.

FONTANA CA MARKET REPORT

The median sales price for homes in Fontana CA is $201,000.  Compared to the same period one year ago, the median home sales price decreased 4.3% and the number of home sales decreased 14.4%.  The average price per square foot for Fontana CA was $122, a decrease of almost 5% compared to the same period last year.  The average listing price for homes for sale in Fontana CA is currently $225,969, which represents an increase of 0.1%. Fontana’s resale inventory increased slightly about 1% since December 2011. The percentage of distressed properties such as foreclosures and short sales decreased in December most likely because of the lender moratoriums.

Today Google introducedSearch Plus Your World, a new Google search experience centered around people. For the first time ever, you’ll be able to find personal results from your world  - your photos, your friends, your stuff – in a Google search.

It’s suppose to be rolling out today and should be available for all Google users over the next few days.

Healthy Fontana Nights- Fast Food and Portion Sizes; Yoga

Frustrated and feeling helpless because the Bank is trying to find every possible reason to delay approving your loan? Tried everything? Might be a good time to break out the old iPhone and rap about it on You Tube!  It worked for this frustrated Buyer who had reached the end of his rope. Despite good credit scores & buyer qualification, Bank of America kept stalling on approving their loan.
